Thats the way I took it as well.

    • Some people need to reflect upon themselves and do a soul evaluation. Look deep within the darkness and then come out and try to have at least a slight sense of humor. It has been shown that those with no sense of humor, have no soul and are destined for an eternity in the pit.
The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins?

by Fleming,Erick Smith and Eddie Timanus
                  Published 12:02 p.m. ET Oct. 19, 2017 | Updated 3:46 p.m. ET Oct. 19, 2017

                  8. Wichita State (31-5) Points: 543. Previous ranking: 21.
Outlook: Coach Gregg Marshall and the Shockers move on from the Missouri Valley, where they mostly dominated, to the American Conference, where the challenges might be stiffer. But Wichita State has a veteran roster led by Landry Shamet and Markis McDuffie and big man Shaquille Morris.

                  13. Cincinnati (30-6)
                  Points: 349. Previous ranking: 22.
Outlook: The Bearcats would like to remind any new entries to the American Athletic Conference that they were here first. Gary Clark and Jacob Evans should have Mick Cronin’s squad at or near the top.

                  14. Notre Dame (26-10) Points: 305. Previous ranking: 20. (potential Maui Invitational opponent)
Outlook: With Bonzie Colson (17.8 ppg and 10.1 rpg) leading a veteran lineup, Mike Brey’s Fighting Irish could make a run in the ACC. Matt Farrell (14.1 ppg) is the leader of the backcourt.

                  24. Baylor (27-8) Points: 107. Previous ranking: 12.
Outlook: The burden of scoring for the Bears should fall on G Manu Lecomte (12.2 ppg) with the departure of Johnathan Motley. Fellow seniors Jo Lual-Acuil and Terry Maston will provide size in the middle. How far the team may depend on three freshmen – two who were redshirted last year – and their ability to bolster the veterans.

                  35. Oklahoma (19 points)
                  38. Michigan (13 points)
                  41. SMU (9 points)

                          • Well, Reaper, let's hope that Pomeroy's top four -- and his preseason #4 in particular -- match last year's performance. I think we could all live with that.

                              I'd be ok with that.

                                http://thegruelingtruth.net/basketba...ason-top-25-2/

"The NBA’s already tipped off, but for those seeking more hoops action, it’s time to get ready for the 2017-18 NCAA basketball season! Following is the Grueling Truth’s top 25 rankings for the upcoming season.

                                1) Duke Blue Devils – Every year seems to start out like this and once again the Devils are at or near the top of this pre-season list. They will be a young team that will be led by Grayson Allen and if Allen plays like a leader the Devils will be tough.
                                2) Kansas Jayhawks – The Jayhawks are absolutely loaded in the back-court with Devonte’ Graham, Malik Newman, Lagerald Vick and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk.
                                3) Arizona Wildcats – The Wildcats are loaded, but aren’t they always? Can Coach Sean Miller get this team to make a deep run come Tournament time?
                                4) Michigan State Spartans – Coach Tom Izzo had an uncharacteristic down year last year, look for a huge rebound year behind Miles Bridge.
                                5) Kentucky Wildcats – The Wildcats are loaded at forward, but the back court has to be cause for concern.
                                6) Florida Gators – Last year’s leading scorer, KeVaughn Allen, returns from last year’s elite eight team.
                                7) Villanova Wildcats – Look for the Wildcats to have their fourth straight 30-win season.
                                8) Wichita State Shockers – The switch in conferences will give the Shockers tougher competition, but this is a talented team that will flirt with 30 wins this year.
                                9) West Virginia Mountaineers – The Mountaineers return 3 starters from last year’s Sweet 16 team.
                                10) North Carolina Tar Heels – The Heels lost three starters from last year’s title winning team...."
