"He's transferring from KU"
Give me a break he got kicked off the team as soon as the season ended for all the crap he put them through. Josh Jackson was just too good to face any discipline but good riddance he is gone for the NBA.
Bragg isn't leaving because it was his idea. He was in line to be a big contributor with Lucas done. Bragg's shenanigans caught up with him. He'd be a great fit at Illinois State. Book it.

It's a weird concept for me to attend a school and to be more of a fan boy of another school than your own school. Part of immersing yourself into your school is cheering for your school's teams...or at least not rooting for other schools over yours.
Because my wife had family who were big OU football fans, we went to a Sooner Caravan event a few years ago. On occasion, I would find myself rooting for OU football, so I was excited to go. Unfortunately, I found myself quite bored at the event because OU was not my school, so I didn't have the connection to it like I do for WSU. Plus, it didn't help that Bob Stoops kinda acted like a jerk to us in an autograph line. I think that pretty much ended any following that Mrs. 16 and I had for the Boomer Sooners.78-65

Yeah I don't get it either. I ran into an old high school friend at Koch Arena during a game. He went to WSU for his undergrad then to OU for his grad degree but he's decked out in KU gear at this Shockers game. Gave him some grief about it and he explained, which I knew, he grew up a KU fan and it didn't matter to him where he went to school he was always going to be a KU fan. That logic just didn't register with me but if anything I guess he's loyal. If you're not going to go all the way, why go?

I don't mind someone remaining a fan of KU or anywhere else if they've always been a fan of that school. I feel that you should also support your alma mater's teams as long as they aren't playing the team you've always cheered for. But at least have the decency to not wear your KU or whatever else gear to a Shocks game. Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.
