I didn't want to start a new thread about KU and this may have already been hashed out in another thread, but I'll throw it here just for fun.

KU and WSU are both 10-5 in the tourney over the last 5 years. Based strictly on seeds this is very interesting considering KU fans consider their team superior year after year.

    KU Seeds: 2, 2, 1, 1, 1
    WSU Seeds: 11, 10, 9, 7, 1

    KU wins: 16, 16, 16, 15, 15, 9, 9, 8, 4, 4
    WSU wins: 16, 13, 11, 10, 8, 7, 6, 2, 2, 1

    KU loses: 10, 7, 3, 3, 2
    WSU loses: 8, 3, 3, 2, 1

    Head to Head = WSU

I can't say I see one that is currently on the roster or that has signed.

With all that being said, they will probably lose 10-11 games and be awarded a 2-seed with their first two games at IBA.
They have a post on their board with their roster for next year and the guy who posted it says it looks like a top 5 roster to him (lmao). Graham is not a PG at all. They need a grad transfer or heaven forbid a JUCO to fill that gap ASAP. Svi is bad. Watching the game last night I'm not sure why Bill even recruited him in the first place. I'm assuming someone told him there was a Ukrainian NBA star hiding out somewhere and Bill handed him a scholarship. I'm sure in the next couple months Bill will be able to fill the gaps but right now that is a borderline top 40 team. KU fans calling it top 5 just demonstrates their delusion.

While that lineup certainly isn't anything great, I long ago gave up on the Big 12 not pissing its pants. Also, I'm sure Billy Boy is going to call every potential grad transfer and try to get them to go play for the flagship. I wonder if all these chokejobs hurt KU in recruiting? If you're a 1 and doner, do you really want to almost certainly not make the Final 4?
Vick and Bragg will probably be in jail after their trials start, now that they are out of the NCAA tournament. At the very least, if Coach Self has an ounce of integrity (which he obviously doesn't) they will not be on the team next year. If they are, I will have lost all respect for Bill Self. Graham will probably be the team leader next season, I would imagine.

Yea, pretty much, but that will be reaffirmed if Vick and Bragg are on the team next season.

With 10-11 quality losses, they will surely be a 0.5 seed!

I got your back Kellen and any true Shocker fan does too. But then I remember when the late great Dave "The Rave" Stallworth played here and we were constantly in the Top 1-5 in the country and KU telling us that the Shockers just aren't good enough for them to play us. Some things just don't change.

Ditto. I remember being a kid with excitement because the Shockers cracked the top 20, and my Chickenhawk buddy, unsolicited I might add (sound familiar?), said "WSU will never be better than the Chickens!" That was my first experience of being on the receiving end of projected anxiety from Chicken fans, followed closely by accompanied diarrhea of the mouth. Mean. Spiteful. Ugly.

Most of KUs recruits think they are leaving early for the NBA before they step foot on campus. If they see a glimmer of hope that they'll get drafted, they're gone. I wouldn't put it past Graham and Bragg to declare for the draft. Not sure what the deal is with Svi, but not only is he terrrible, he probably thinks he's ready to turn pro. KU does a better job of sending marginal players to the NBA than any program in the country.
