4 games against Maui competition: Chaminade, Notre Dame, California, LSU, Marquette, Michigan and VCU.

    At Oklahoma State

    Oklahoma at Intrust

    South Carolina at Koch

    At Baylor

    Creighton at Sprint Center

Vermont at Koch (same weekend after mid week to Mizzou)

(There seems to be confusion here, Vermont has a mid week at Mizzou, then coming here for travel ease)

    That leaves 3 openings, yes?

“UVM basketball to open season at Kentucky” – Burlington Free Press

“…While Kentucky is the highlight of the nonconference slate, UVM has other intriguing matchups on the schedule before the start of America East play.…But UVM is still searching for two more games to fill out its nonconference slate, both of which are likely to be on the road. If that’s the case, UVM will only have three nonconference home games on its schedule….”

Nothing in the article to say its not going to happen.

So WuDrWu’s posting still has legs, at least for the hosting of the University of Vermont Catamounts. Which dates still look feasible?:

Sat, Nov. 11th - Doubtful?: as we play UMKC on Fri, Nov. 10th and UV plays Kentucky on Sun. Nov. 12th.
    Sat. Nov. 18th - Maybe?
    Sat. Nov. 25th - Maybe?

Sat. Dec. 2nd - We play Baylor in Waco
Sat. Dec. 9nd - We play Oklahoma State in Stillwater
Sat. Dec. 16th - We play Oklahoma in Wichita
    Sat. Dec. 233rd - Maybe?
Sat. Dec. 30th – Doubtful?: as AAC conference games are likely to start on this date.

Have not been able to rule-out the games against Creighton or South Carolina either.

    • Norlander eviscerated Bill Self on the CBS Sports College BB page for his non-conference schedule and it's SOS is rated 80th in KenProm.

I'm anxiously awaiting the release of our schedule, knowing full well our non-conference SOS will be much tougher than the flagship's.

Anybody know when we can expect the release?

Why walk somebody in baseball when you can hit them?

                  • You guys dodged the 3 AAC anchors in ECU, USF, and Tulane (rightfully so). If you win the conference this coming season, I see no worse than a 3 seed in the big dance.

And I'm excited to play a top 5 team in Storrs/Hartford this season!

                    • About everything you could ask for. Would rather have Memphis at home than USF or Tulane but who cares really, they'll probably have about the same RPI anyways.

                      • Here is the official announcement and parings for all teams. Not sure anyone has anything to complain about. Wichita State came out very well. Just about as expected, with the exception I thought we would get Memphis (home and away), but Memphis will likely struggle this season.

                        • Memphis away only is a bummer. Here's to hoping they get their ish together in the future.

It's mutual; our fan base is stoked to see some real opponents in Koch finally.

                              • Was hoping to see the boys in Tampa this year. Guess a drive over to Orlando will suffice.
