A: Unclear, according to Boatright. The most likely result is that it becomes a conference game. WSU will almost certainly play Tulsa twice during the regular season, although the schedules are not set.

I would not be surprised to see Colorado State or Colorado on our schedule. At least we will try for a H/H because we do have several of our recruiting targets from Colorado. Tad Boyle may not want to come to Koch and he may feel that he doesn't need to schedule us on a H/H because Koch is too much of an advantage.

No shortage of suitors, but UT-Arlington would be a dream buy game for next season. They return Kevin Hervey and other key pieces from last year's team and should win the Sun Belt again. RPI finished at 40 this season. I understand they are looking for one more "thanks for the check" game still.
No doubt our staff is working like crazy to plug the additional openings right now.

The AAC uses a competitive matrix model when it comes to scheduling. So the top rated team will get the next 7 highest rated teams for Home-Away (14 games), while getting the last 4 ranked teams for single play (2 at Home and 2 Away games) for a total of 18 Conference Games. Using Kenpom’s final ratings for this season, you can get an approximation of what our schedule might look like for 2017-18.
1. WSU, (KP-#8)
2. SMU, (KP-#11) - Home and Away
3. Cincinnati, (KP-#23) - Home and Away
4. Houston, (KP-#52) - Home and Away
5. UCF, (KP-#68) - Home and Away
6. UConn, (KP-#96) - Home and Away
7. Memphis, (KP-#101) - Home and Away
8. Temple, (KP-#118) - Home and Away *?
9. Tulsa, (KP-#144) - Home or Away *?
10. ECU, (KP-#191) - Home or Away, but not both
11. Tulane, (KP-#241) - Home or Away, but not both
12. USF, (KP-#292) - Home or Away, but not both
*I would speculate that Tulsa would be given a Home and Away conference matchup with WSU. The close proximity with Wichita, our past rivalry, and since we owe them a return game as well. I think they will swamp out Temple for that to happen. I also think it would be better for us to have to travel to Tulane and USF, while having Temple and ECU travel to Wichita for a single conference games. However, if you want the best schedule do you take Temple over Tulsa?
Just my thoughts. Any others?

WSU would play SMU, Houston, Memphis, Tulsa, and Tulane H/A every year. Then, in this case above, get Cincinnati and UCF H/A and divide up UConn, Temple, ECU, and USF only once, 2 at home and 2 away.
