LMAO! How offended should Doug be by being passed over for a potential Mike Cohen?

If he wants to be a head coach, he needs to start out at Bethany Nazarene first although they have standards on past criminal behavior for a head coach which may make him ineligible.

Wow! This hire really surprises me. Basically, a P-5 school hires an assistant, with no head coaching experience, from a successful, but smallish, mid major program plus one year experience as an assistant at a P-5.

He was also an assistant at Wofford and South Carolina for 4 years. Still puzzling none the less.

To get back on the topic of next year's schedule I remember hearing Frank Martin on The Drive with Bob and Jeff a few months ago and he said he would love to talk with Marshall about scheduling a game sometime in the future. With South Carolina's run here, now would be a perfect time to reach out and make this happen next year.

I don't know. Moving up to a traditionally strong P5 program seems to have a strange impact on the neurons in the brain. A 3G call to Archie is now likely to be greeted with a Gregg who?

This is Indiana .. Archie is already on the hot seat. There is no way he's scheduling guaranteed losses.

So, if the AAC is split East-West and we only play the East teams once in the conference season, wouldn't it make sense to add 2 of the (projected) higher RPI AAC-East teams to our non-con? Play one home and one away or neutral. The conference and the schools get the benefit of quality games and RPI boosters.

If you are going to do that then just play a 22 game complete round robin AAC schedule.

They should do that anyways to introduce the Shockers and baptize every school in Koch.

This is my current favorite thread. Why? Because it doesn't matter anymore! :) there is almost no need to worry about the non conference and SOS anymore.

It will always be fun to see who we are playing each year, but we finally have a season with tons of great games in it now. I don't have to hold my breath and see if we will have a nice slate anymore.

Bracket Seeds will be announced in late July, 2017. I am guessing we will be either #1 or #2. The #2 Seed is better as we would not face Chaminade in the first game.
