Man, if we were in the Valley in 17-18, can you imagine the litany of questionable calls we would receive? Might as well not have to worry about it.

I think the AAC is smart enough to want $9MM and 2 of the last 5 National Champions.

So, you're the AAC. You're looking to add a school to balance out the basketball schedule. There's a team that wants to join, has some natural rivalries with existing teams, has a good reputation and one of the best coaches in the world. They are also returning all 10 rotation players of a team that gave every bit of what Kentucky could take, of which 7 will be seniors. The team is predicted as a Top 10 if not Top 5 team with real National Championship possibilities. Adding the team next year instead of the year after next adds a moderate amount of work and headache, but would bolster the RPI of everybody in the conference and likely increase the number of at-large teams from your conference by 1-2 at least. Or you could wait the extra year and see what happens.

            I know which I'd choose.

The choice is obvious. I was just asking Doc if he KNEW we were leaving this year.

Which P5 schools would you take those 1-2 at-large bids from? I don't think it would be a P5 school. If the selection committee has its way, those at-large bids would come from non-P5 schools, maybe teams from the Big East, A-10, etc.

                    I'm fine taking Creighton's bid.

Though I do like the potential opportunity at a first-round bye.

Will Creighton actually play us when we're in the AAC?

Then let them beg for awhile. They treated their former conference mates like sh** and still do. F*** Creighton.
                              Just my opinion of course.

My version of f***ing Creighton is beating them by 20 on national TV in KC in front of their fans.
