I would rank our non-con games as follows to date:
1. @Baylor
2. Maui Invitational (Semifinal & Final)
3. Oklahoma
4. @Oklahoma St
5. Charleston
6. Florida Gulf Coast
7. South Dakota St
8. UMKC
9. Maui Mainland Game
10. Chaminade (my guess for opening Maui game)
11. To Be Determined
12. Savannah St

Arkansas State on December 19th added. Only one Maui related game to add.

Home slate this year will consist of: UMKC, Charleston, Maui Mainland Game, Savannah State, South Dakota State, Oklahoma, Arkansas State, Florida Gulf Coast, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Houston, South Florida, SMU, Temple, Tulane and Tulsa. Not too shabby.

The "buy game cupcakes" on this year's schedule were all 30-50 spots higher in the RPI than 3rd place Valley team last year, and all return way more of their pieces than teams in the middle of the Valley pack.
We replaced league games with games against WAAAY better competition. And then replaced home buy games with games against teams still better than the Valley. I think they want to make sure they are ready when January rolls around.
And April.

Our OOC opponents, their RPI last season, and an educated guess as to whether that RPI will improve or deteriorate based upon returning firepower:
vs. UMKC (181) (-)
vs. Charleston (65) (++)
vs. Maui x 4 (TBD - likely Chaminade (no RPI impact), 2 games vs. Top 50 teams, and one mystery home game that hopefully is not a total grenade)
vs. Savannah State (282) (little change)
@ Baylor (9) (-)
vs. South Dakota State (152) (++)
@ Oklahoma State (41) (-)
vs. Oklahoma (162) (++)
vs. Arkansas State (113) (++)
vs. Florida Gulf Coast (88) (+)
That is incredible and the staff deserves a ton of credit. We have generally done a very good job building schedules over the last 4-5 years, but this is the best we've put together in the modern era IMHO.

This is super freaking AWESOME!!!
