Shamet is the 4th Freshman to get 1st team honors (Doug McDermott, Cleo Littleton, Vernon Yates) and Shamet/McDuffie only the 2nd underclassman pair on the 1st team (Baker/Van Vleet). That's some good company for them.

Congrats to Landry, Markis, Shaq, Conner and Zach. I can't argue with the selection and have to admit it's a pretty fair assessment although many of us would argue that Shaq and Conner really should be on the second team. I suppose a case could be made that it took Conner half a season (if not more) to actually start having a true impact on the team. Next year's All-MVC voting is really going to be interesting.

Let's see what happens tomorrow and Thursday. Pretty clear Landry will be FOY but will be surprised if 3G gets the nod for COY for all the reasons others have posted.
