      • If SMU keeps it up we'll be 12th by the end of the night.

        • We were 16th before the game, but closer to 12th than 17th. Top 15 starts to make you do a double-take if you have doubts about this team and give any merit to kenPom.

Edit: I see I wasn't the only one. That exchange was on page 6 of their game thread.
            That's the one. Awesome.

            • One of the things that is exciting about what Frankamp is doing is that it isn't just taking advantage of scrubs. Most of his shots, there's just not much you can do about them. Maybe if you have a Zach Brown type, but few teams do.

The non-Juco Junior class has really made strides the last month.

              • First, The OG RK was awesome. I didn't know what to expect because he has always been extremely friendly but not necessarily extroverted. He was smooth throughout and provided good analysis of in game tactics.

The only thing keeping this team from embarrassing teams in the first half is the occasional "forcing the action" resulting in turnovers. Tonight travels were our Achilles heal. Also, I thought the coaching staff out smarted themselves when they decided to shadow screens vs. hedging.

Lots of positives tonight. Hopefully we can continue this streak on Saturday.

Passed by Duke immediately after. Pretty big gap between 12th and 13th now.

                    • Dandy little stat: RK is averaging 7.6 Pts and 6.4 Rbs a game on 72% shooting in the past five games. That's some efficiency right there.

It seems RK has arrived. As has Conner.

                        • There were several shots of Landry last night that made me smile. The kid was focused and had a look of clear determination that said, "I got this. And we're going to kick your ass."

There was another shot during a FT attempt and in the background you can see Willis sitting next to Jans. Jans is in his ear, coaching him up. Wasn't long after that Willis came back in and got a couple of baskets under the hoop.

Anyone else disappointed in Gregg giving Jans another chance at coaching?

Guess you don't believe in 2nd chances. He already paid the consequences for his actions. He is a good person who made a poor decision it happens to everyone at some point.

It's possible you may have missed some sarcasm from Bluz, eagle. It seems apparent that Jans has helped quite a bit, and I for one am especially happy with some of the second half adjustments WSU has made this year -- sometimes Jans always seemed especially good at. So I could be wrong, but I'd suggest that you check your meter.
