This was what happened tonight.

And the good Doc Holiday told Johnnie Ringo that He would be his Huckleberry. He also said something like "It's not just revenge, it is the reckoning." I reckon the birds know who was boss tonight and here they just wanted some sweeping action. Love that movie.

When Shaq wants to, he can dominate games.

I mean, with 33 seconds left in the 1st half, he grabbed the ball out of bounds, waited for 3 seconds to run off the clock, and then passed it in so WSU could play for the last shot. How does one have that sort of awareness and domination for an entire half, and then completely disappear for weeks at a time? It's baffling, but his ceiling, much like this team's ceiling, is very high.

Lucked into last minute tickets and rolled up to Koch from T-Town 10 minutes before the game. When I saw Conner on this games ticket, I knew it was a sign!

Morning fellas.

Hats off on an absolutely lethal ass-whipping last night. Thought we were going to see a slugfest the way the first 10 minutes went, but then it went down the tank for us quickly and you guys never let up. You got on a huge run to end the first half, and an even bigger one to open the second---nobody has been able to do that to us all year. Then you guys did the right thing by not once letting your foot off the gas pedal. For whatever reason we just had no fight last night, which was very uncharacteristic of us and you exploited it perfectly.

Good luck the rest of the way and hopefully we see a great rubber match in St. Louis.

RPI jumped 17 to 53. ISU up 1 to 33. That's more good news this morning.

That was an important game for this team in many ways. I heard on the radio last night after the game something like, the Shockers may have turned the corner even though they didn't need to turn the corner.

I disagree to a point. This program has different goals today. They expect to compete for the highest goals. Last night, they got after it. That's what they needed. That's the way they have to play to win in March. It was a very good night for WSU.
