  • I have to think there is a little looking ahead to next Saturday going on. Better not overlook Wednesday.

    • Welp, good game Connor and Landry.
      That was ugly.

Has he had a decent game since the dunk in OKC? Seems like he's been in a downward spiral since.

Shaq clearly not only moved to prevent the defender from going around him, he also used his arms to ward him away. I actually called it before Natilli did.

It was just where his mind was today - anywhere but Peoria.

            That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

I think "predictive" is the term you are looking for. With emphasis on the middle syllable.

Agreed. Absolutely a foul. He also travelled earlier in the game and wasn't called for it.

                  • Honestly, I feel Bradley had just as much to do with us doing terrible in the first as we did. Their help D and energy was exceptional for the first 20.

                          • Great second half by LS and CF. RK was good. The one time he quit playing defense to give up a three he got a really nice dunk on the other end.

This a text I received tonight and I agree:

If we want to ever be any good offensively against a team that plays defense we better realize that Frankamp is a weapon. It's like the entire team has a pact to never throw him the ball in rhythm. It's like coach thinks he's KC Hunt. It's painful to watch how often we f'n reverse the ball to Non-Shooters on the wing over an open Frankamp.

                            • CF defers and passes up a ridiculous number of open looks from the perimeter, but it seems he has found his rhythm over the last ~4 weeks and is pulling the trigger a bit more often.

His willingness to penetrate was the most encouraging takeaway from today's game (is 3 two-point FGs a record for him? I can't recall him having more in a single game). Seems like a sign that his confidence is taking the next step and his trajectory will hopefully continue to follow through on its recent arc.
