While it may seem like it. This WSU team is extremely talented. I would dare to say they are fairly consistent in that they beat everyone they are supposed to beat, but they dont play above expectations. So what we are left with, is a team that will go 17-1 or 16-2 in conference because they are just more talented than everyone they will play. That is better than the teams of the past that would drop a game to the SIUs and EUs. This team, I dont think, will. And its because of talent.

Who said we're awesome? The problem is the high-low, emotional personality types who think in a given night we are either the best, or the worst.

I try not to be in the roller coaster camp, but this year's team makes it tempting. I'm not sure I've ever seen a team that just looks like world beaters against bad teams (admittedly, there's been a couple halves where we looked bad against bad teams) but looks so mediocre against okay teams.

I dunno if it's a confidence or mental thing or the bad teams are just that bad or what.

Not use to the WSU 7-minute scoring drought in the 1st half and then more of the same in the 2nd half. What I am more use to is our Shocks holding down our foes like that. We also gave the birds several wide open three's tonight. Their zone gave us fit. 9 steals and 8 blocks it just said on the radio for the birds tonight. We did get close early in the 2nd half when MM got hot but never made much of a solid run thereafter.
