Three observations from tonight. Just my opinions:

1- ISUr was pretty good tonight in a good environment. It was going to take an A game to beat them tonight.

2- Smith earned the starting spot with his play against OU. IMO he has lost it with his recent play. Especially tonight.

3- Toughness, both mental and physical, is lacking on this team.

Unfortunately he recognizes the difference between a good shot and a good pass. He would shoot more if the ball was not stagnant before it came to him.

The habits of others not passing quickly result in him making the quick pass in attempt to make the defense move.

Unfortunately ZB and LS are two of the worst I have seen under HCGM at missing the open swing pass. It is a very fixable issue since it isn't talent or effort related. They just need to understand the importance of it.
