I think the offense is fine, our guards are not running the plays, when we got the ball to the high post we had all the options in the world, just didn't execute. The other thing I saw was the number of blocks without fouls that Ill State had, that is pretty good!!!!!

The birds are good at blocking shots but not sure how clean all their blocks really were. I did see several successful over the back by them getting some Offensive rebounds not called which gained them an advantage of some expected home cooking. Even so, their zone was effective and our shooting pct. was way off. Furthermore, we tried to force passes inside that they were waiting to swipe with baited breath. In games like this with the funky zones, I wished we would focus more on head and shoulder fakes before taking inside shots that in some cases were blocked to draw fouls. When covered up in there, quick passes back to CF, Landry, and Austin for open 3's would be better than what happened yesterday. Easier said than done. Shaq got benched for a spell after his second blunder of jumping in the lane before the throw was released and I can't blame 3G for that.
