Your still in the hunt for a post-season berth albeit the play-in round at 32 points. 31 and above would be the current cut-line to make the post-season. Your doing great. At least your doing as well as I am so that must be great.

Oops. Missed all the lines in black. Should have went to the Light version to read the table. The black on black part on Shockernet Dark threw me.

The average score this round was 8.34, only slightly below the 8.55 average score logged in Round 2.

Looking at round 6 matchups, this has to be the toughest round by far. I would not be surprised if I score as low as a zero this weekend. I mean there are 2 teams that have yet to win and they both have home games, the top 2 teams are playing each other and the other game is another coin flip. Goodluck peeps..... :/

I was just looking at these games and was thinking the exact same thing. I could easily put of a goose egg this round.

My quandary is that this is the game I thought the Shockers could lose in my preseason prediction for a 30 win Shocker season. Regardless I do not think I can pick the Redbirds to beat the Shockers in this Pick-em Contest.

Okay, beam me up Scottie. It's looks like capnkirk is my new battle foe, so it should be a good run. The Valley games are always tough to pick (as many can attest) because of what I love most about the MVC.....once Valley season starts, then all the teams pick it up and notch and don't back down for anyone. It makes for some great MVC hoop wars each and every round, and it's just flat-out fun for college hoops junkies...YES!

Alright, onto Valley go-round #7 :)

For anyone thinking the MVC is unpredictable, I give you the ACC*:

The best team (Virginia) and the 2nd worst team (Georgia Tech) are both 3-2.
The far and away worst team (Boston College) is tied with Duke at 2-3.
The current standings leader (Notre Dame) is 5-0 despite being only the 6th highest ranked team in the conference.

I assumed you would put 4 points on the highest percentage and 3 on the next highest. Wouldn't this maximize the expected value? In this week though it would have meant Ken only scores 6. With retroactive "predictions" I think you need to spell out the methodology.
The first 3 weeks how did you distribute the points?

Yah posting retroactive picks and distributing then makes little sense other than trying to gain advantage in this ego-enraged contest.
