      This year sucks.
      There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

              Let me share some helpful advice to my fellow contestants.

              #1 Don't take for granted how many games WSU wins on the road. They are an anomoly and not the norm, so do not assume any other team can win on the road even 50% of the time.
              #2 SIU is really bad.
              #3 And last but certainly not least, you will most likely score better by picking exactly the opposite of my picks.
              Marge: The plant called and said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday.

                Join the club. I always start out digging myself a hole. So at least I can claim to be consistent.

                This may turn out to be the toughest year yet for the Valley Pick 'Em Contest.
