To be fair, they did have the players that were under academic review back against MSU, not that we wouldn't have pounded them anyway. We probably would have "only" won by 30 instead of 40.

In Pick-'Em, I went with Barry sweeping MSU. Best team MSU has had under Lusk just got swept by the coach they fired who took over a dumpster fire.

Not that I care really who won, but I thought SIU got a favorable whistle at times.

Specifically, they allowed SOB to "hook" the man guarding him several times with no call. It seems that's been a point of emphasis lately, and it's kind of hard to miss him doing it.

Just my opinion.

I don't know it's a tough competition. SIU has a 97 page "fire Henson" thread. MSU has two threads. One being 18 pages long.

Actually the SIU thread is a "New and Improved Fire Barry Thread" replacing the older one, and there are no less than 4 other threads in the first 2 pages that question him as a coach, one way or the other, and another thread warning posters to keep all their fire Barry talk in the one thread, ostensibly because otherwise that's all you'd see....Fire Barry threads.

It's a good read when things are slow.
