Student attendance will suffer again because it's now Christmas break. But I think everyone else will still come. I think we'll have close to 10,000 butts in seats, no where near 8,000. I think the fans will show up to support the team and cheer angry.

SD St may be a lot tougher than I think they are. If so, playing angry should apply. If they are more like most of the other teams we've beaten, we shouldn't need to play angry to win by 17 as we would win by 25-30 if we did. They only beat Drake by 8 and lost at UNI by 28.

I think you're underestimating the amount of bandwagon and spoiledness in the fanbase.

Wish we could cancel this game and just practice. Most everyone has had a "slump buster" or two in their day, but if you are only getting lucky with "slump busters" then you need to work on your game.

I predict SDSU will get the fake name, someone else's house and cab fare treatment.

I wish the pep band would learn Gordon Goodwins "Hunting Wabbits" and play that off and on throughout the game.

If it wasn't obvious before, it's pretty obvious now that the athletic department reads this site quite frequently.

It's too bad that this is the only issue they're addressing but I guess it's a start.

Shocks win big. Should be a good opportunity to work out some kinks.

The major prognosticators are unanimous and have the Shockers winning "Bigley":

                      Nolan +31.0
                      Massey +19.0
                      RPI Forecst +25.3
                      Sagarin +24.0
                      Vegas +21.0

That sounds a little high for me, and I think Marshall will stretch the bench:

                      Wascally Wabbits - 73
                      Shockers - 82

Hoping for quicker/crisper ball movement / reversals.
Hope SM sits until he is both physically and mentally ready.
                        Hope CF's shot confidence returns.
                        Hope for more AR minutes.

Shaq is questionable at best for tonight's game.

If that's the case would it not be best to sit him and try to get that injury fully healed before heading to Indiana State next Wednesday?

I'm always iffy on questions like this. Obviously the coaches and trainers know a lot more about these things than I do, but I've always kind of felt like if you can play without doing further damage or stretching out the recovery time, you should play to stay sharp, and continue to gain chemistry with the team. If playing is going to make it take longer to heal, then I'd sit him.

Just picked up my student ticket. Lady at the box office had one ticket left and said that the plan was to continue selling off part of the student section after these next five games.
