I predict Marshall will hold Reaves out of the game, just to be cautious. That will not make Reaves happy. I don't know if the other guards want an angry Reaves competing for minutes on the court.

There better be 3 guards playing like their hair is on fire because they realize that the guy sitting out the game is coming after their minutes.

Not sure I'll sit down and watch this tonight as it is streaming on ESPN3 and I agree with everybody else's summations for the most part. I didn't hear the Coach's radio show but based on SB's breakdown, I'd say SNU is in for an epic beat down, despite Gregg tinkering (and maybe because of) with the lineup and bench rotation. There's a part of me that would like to see him sit several players for the game in an effort to light the fire.

Regardless, this will be the second, and perhaps last, foray above the century mark for the Shox this season as Marshall and company prepare for their first real road game.

I noticed that the game is not on the normal Cox KS channel (22 and 2022), but on Cox Extra (122 and 2122). I also notice on my channel guide that the call letters are now YVKS, which I see stands for YurView Kansas. Doing a Google search on YVKS, it took me to the Time Warner webpage. I also noticed that there are a lot more games and other things from the NE Kansas area (Kansas and K-State).

There was a game before the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament that I had set up to record, but when I looked for the recording, it said it didn't record because it couldn't find the game. Looking at Channel 2022, in the Guide at the time, all it showed was To Be Announced for every time slot. So, maybe they were updating information for the change over to YVKS. Program information now shows okay for 2022.

Does anyone know anything?

The only thing I know is that Cox sucks! Other than that, I ran into the exact same things you ran into.

I will need to check with a rabbi but I believe "YVKS" is Hebrew for "yucks", as in any game that is a laugher is going onto THIS station.

Take that with a grain of salt and lox.

Or could it be the local Israel station airing away games for Southern Nazarene???

According to the COX channel guide Long Beach State is playing basketball on COX 22 at 7pm tonight. No Wichita State. Could this be another espn3 only game? It doesn't seem like a game they would take for espn3 only.

Man, the apathy is strong for this game. I get it though, none of us want to be in a situation like we were last year; basically squarely on the bubble come Arch Madness time. Also, I feel like we're starting to get a little spoiled around here. Winning a ton of games by huge margins can get boring. I blame the MVC.

The scheduling of non-exhibition games against D-1 programs seems to have become pretty standard outside the P-5 and the Big East. I think Creighton is the only Big East school with such a game on its schedule this year. Every Valley team has one of these games scheduled except Loyola, Evansville and Drake which each had 2. However, one of Drake's was Alaska-Anchorage in the Great Alaska Shootout.

However, perhaps this year's champion of scheduleing these games is Eastern Michigan out of the MAC. They have 4 of these games on their schedule this year.
