I remember some of the local comments when Ralph Miller put a mostly black team on the court. Those teams were the ones who started the tradition of good basketball and great support at WSU.
I guess I dunno what you mean

I wouldn't support a team made up of all white players, or of all black players.

Officiating sucked. Really tried to kill the flow of the game. I dunno how anyone's supposed to play defense if games were routinely called like this. The NCAA is trying to destroy the game. Hopefully, this was just the case of shitty referees.

This team is balanced. Reaves continues to impress.

Unfortunately, these first 4 games have shown that we are a really good team playing against horrible competition.

I can't wait for Wednesday and see them make a statement against a real team. Save travels, Shocks.

Totally agree. We really need to get to serious competition and take the training wheels off. This team is ready. Let's see what they can really do.

That was a cool presentation. It could have been one of the other games. I have seen them twice this year. Their routines are usually pretty short and often not the only thing going on at halftime. I enjoy the dance team when they do perform although I don't really miss them when they don't. I'm miss some of the great half-time shows they used to book like Quick Change but I'm glad they don't need much of that anymore to pull in fans. The basketball is plenty entertaining on its own.

Well, I guess we were supposed to name the score.

Not that it matters one iota, but this team continues to do the things I love to watch on the basketball floor.

We take GREAT shots. Post moves or layups, open 3s, free throws. Name something else? Conner had a pull up 15 footer (that he drilled). I'm sure there were others, but not very many.

                          Layups, 3s, FTs. Good recipe.

Also, we press and create turnovers. Yes, we gave up some open 3s, and that won't work against some teams, but turn up the heat guys. 94' feet of hell.

Passing and sharing. These guys move the ball without dribbling, like, well like no team I can remember. Pass, pass, pass, pass, extra pass, open shot.

Lots of assists and teamwork. And these kids seem to love playing together. Again, this is a very fun team to watch.

And a pretty damned good team at that.

The only dribbling any of the guys do is totally purpose based. Gotta bring the ball up the court...drive the basket...get into position to make the pass. That's pretty much it, and yet we have so many good ball-handlers! Frankamp and Reaves are outstanding. Shamet and Smith have D-I PG skills. Our threes handle like twos and our fours handle like threes...still, they all love to pass.

Rashard Kelly showed better handles today than I've ever seen from him. Made some really nice moves.
