Interesting finish in Tulsa.

Tulsa had a foul to give, so they fouled with 5.7 seconds left. IlSU inbound to Lee in the back court. When Lee got past his defender, he was fouled at half court with 3.6 left. Lee made the first and missed the second - even missing the rim. You would think Tulsa gets it because of missing the rim.

Referees called a double lane violation on the second FT, which took precedence over the missed rim. Double lane violation goes to the possession arrow and IlSU inbounds with 3.6 seconds left. I haven't seen that one before. Hawkins missed about a 25' shot at the buzzer.

Yeah, they pretty much invented a way to gift ISU the ball there, and they took that gift and chucked up a contested 30 footer. Muller is worthless as a coach.

Thing is, the kid on the baseline, in the corner closest to the inbound passer appeared to be left wide open, and the inbounded chose to throw it way out top instead. IlSU got Mullered.

Muller was out of time outs, but had time to draw up a play while the referees conferred on the 3 violations they saw on the second free throw. The play he drew up was either poorly designed or poorly executed. All they needed was 2 and they had Hawkins 30' from the basket?
