Based off of everything we've seen so far, there is no way all 18,203 seats can be available for purchase. My guess is they will probably close off the 300 sections behind the baskets.

All Sports Commission and OU season ticket holders don't amount to the number of tickets they're saying are gone do they? Maybe OU is going to sell the rest on the secondary market to try to recoup the money they're losing by not having an actual home game. Oh wait...

No way they are sold out to the top level ... Look at that picture.
Interesting. Based on this morning's events I don't know how they could possibly be shocked the event struggles. Their best hope at selling lots of tickets for this event rests on the out-of-town WSU buyer, and they just did a fantastic job frustrating and alienating that costumer base within the fist hour of public sales.

Speaking for myself, OKC is light years from being a destination city that draws me for reasons outside of this game (it's basically what Wichita would be with twice the population base - whoopie!), and OU (while a very nice OOC opponent) lacks a wow factor in the college hoops world. So if the combo of Ticketmaster and the "All College Classic" people want to bone me on ticket prices and availability, I'll just keep my butt and my money sitting in my living room for this game. No skin off my ass either way, and I only have one cheek left anyways from selling the other for my season tickets.

We'll be neighbors, got 4 seats in 309 row A. See you there in black & gold!

I am stoked for a Shocker trifecta - I'll be at CSU on 12/3, OU on 12/10, and OSU on 12/17. Pretty solid December Saturday lineup.

I'm trying to get to the bottom of all of this, and why the only tickets available to the public are a few sections in the upper deck. I've tweeted at Suellentrop and now the OKC All Sports Association asking them. No responses yet.

Wow. Good luck calling the ticket office. They can be somewhat rude depending on who answers the phone.

OKC All Sports replied, and it looks like the tickets released to the public are ALL the tickets they expect to sell, and don't expect any returned tickets from either University.

Do I have to be an OU season ticket holder to get tickets through the OU allotment? Seems like maybe they have the rest of the lower bowl. I assume at some point they will want to actually make some money and sell them to me.

A prior tweet from them (2 below yours) indicated tickets for this game were included in OU season ticket package. Not sure how many there are, but that accounts for quite a few.

Good catch. I've scoured the OU athletic site trying to find any mention of the game being included in the season ticket package, could never find anything concrete mentioning it.

Now, I guess the question will be what will OU do with unsold tickets? Will they release them to TicketMaster and the event (likely not, based on that reply I got from OKC All Sports) then will OU sell them through their ticket office?

So an OU "home game" played at OKC's downtown arena is included in a season ticket that costs just $150-$550 per seat all-in?

                          Must be nice.

Some Sooner fans won't attend. I don't know if they sell the tickets or not. With such a small investment, sooner ticket holders may just eat it.

Gah, this state sucks. See how obvious it is that they don't give a rat's a$$ about college basketball? They literally don't want to make money off of this. Relegate all the WSU fans (except for 300 of them) to the cheap upper level seats, which a lot of people don't want. Give all the expensive tickets to OU fans and these stupid "All-Sports members" who don't want them. OU must not have a marketing school.

I was gonna purchase a group of 6 but I guess OKC doesn't like that green stuff.

I'll wait it out and see what happens.
