I called WSU ticket office, I wasn't given an option of how many, just that I was being put on a waiting list. He also told me to not expect to get tickets. Would have been nice to know there was going to be a waiting list in advance. I am a season ticket holder, but that didn't seem to matter much as it was the last question he asked.

I doubt they wanted to publicly announce to all season tickets holders a waiting list for tickets that they didn't even know if they would get. When I called a month ago to ask about them, they said they were taking names, but at that time they had no idea if they would get them or how many if they did. OU didn't give them any information until last night on tickets. They still don't even know anything about locations besides "lower bowl across from the WSU bench". They just know an allocation of how many.

Sets of 4 are appearing now. They are still 300 level seats, but as peoples carts expire, tickets are appearing.

Will be in OKC for work that weekend and grabbed a ticket in Row A of Section 309 just now through Ticketmaster.

I didn't see this in time I guess.. Got 2 tickets in 310. If the lower bowl tickets are across from the visitor bench then I *guess* these would be up above that position.

Ticketmaster fees are effectively doubling the face value of a given ticket.

No big deal though, amirite? Just some weird offshoot of the free market at work. I can always just drive down to their ticket office.

It was based on priority points on the original waiting list. I called to put my name on it about a month ago, but they said they didn't know if they were getting tickets. They might be building up a new list now that they see how the ticket process is going (based on how OU is handling it) and then will go on points again.

But you are correct .. I'm very very low on the totem pole so the initial list must have been pretty small for me to get a call (they caught me at 9:56 AM while I was refreshing ticketmaster)

Since they just got notified last night about Tickets from OU, they might have just processed the initial list if it was small and will contact season tickets holder to see if they want any. That's how I would handle it if I were them.

Unfortunately it sounds like OU didn't handle this very well. There is no excuse for getting WSU their allocation less than a day before public sale.
