This is what was posted. Someone else said Paul tweeted that the tix would go on sale through Chesapeake in mid-October.

That must be OUs allotment. I would assume that WSU would have SOME tickets available

One would hope so. Those also may just be the ones that are available right NOW. Kind of like they do IBA sales.

If it's a part of OU's season ticket package, getting good seats may be an issue. Also may end up with a lot of good seats on stub hub

Saw the $160 and thought to myself that was an insane amount for a game ticket, but then quickly realized that's the price of their cheapest season tickets. So... arguably the second best team in the B12 the past few years, in a metro twice the size of Wichita, only has the demand capabilities to support season ticket prices at roughly 20-25% of what WSU can (cheapest ticket vs cheapest ticket). That's a pretty cool indication of our level of support, but also a reminder of some fiscal pain many of us go through each year.

It's actually a lower percentage than that because no donation is required for the 160 dollar tickets .

Yeah, I was including SASO. That $160 is only about 1/4th-1/5th the lowest cost point of entry into WSU season tickets.

This was posted in the 2016-17 Schedule thread, but figured it'd be good to post here as well.

Tickets for OU/WSU go on sale to the public on Oct 18th at 10 am. Apparently on Chesapeake Arena's website and on ticketmaster, it's being called the "Oklahoma City All-College Classic". Still don't see anything on what to expect on prices...

If you click on "Price Range," it says $8-36.

You make a good point. I should probably not be allowed to sit courtside. It doubt that it would end well for anyone.

                                Totally understand.

Back in my salad days in college, playing in the pep band, I learned location matters. Back in the late 80s, the band was about halfway up in Levitt Arena, like it is now, just in a different section. I could yell and carry on to my heart's content, calling the refs everything I could think of.

Then, in the 1988 NCAA game at Notre Dame, I started in like normal. However, for NCAA then, as now, the band is off the baseline, and I was no more than 10 feet from said baseline. After about two trips of my usual, one of the men in stripes turned around at a dead ball and said, "Son, I can hear you!" My response was, "I'm not used to that!" He had a good chuckle and I reeled it in a bit for the rest of the night.
