I have a feeling the whole incident was a little more orchestrated by Marshall than some of you think. Perhaps an incident that could change the entire upcoming season for the better. Yes I saw the whole thing and there was never an attempt by GM to throw a punch at any time during the incident.

You have an interesting argument. You imply Marshall isn't Jesus Christ (and that some of us treat him like he is), but you hold him to such a high standard that you won't allow him to show emotion, get fired up, and make a mistake. Who, I ask, is expecting Marshall to act like Jesus Christ??? Not I. The guy is a human being. Get off his back and allow him to make a mistake. He's, well, human after all.

yeah - watching it the second time wasn't as bad. The people trying to hold him back made it look worse - he just wanted to give the the ref the old canadian 'fuddle duddle" good bye before he left the game.

It takes a lot for me to agree with Fever. But in this case, I do. Very unbecoming behavior from Marshall. I love his intensity, but you can't do this in an exhibition game in Canada in August. He lost it.

The only exception is if he felt our players were being targeted or in imminent danger of being injured. It didn't appear that way. Hopefully we can move on and have a successful season regardless.
