  • A lot of that is the starting lineup for Toronto though, which is really good. Unfortunately it seems like the Raptors plan on running units. Would like to see Fred spend some time with the starters.

    • Sitting a few rows back behind the Toronto bench with a few other Shockers. Fred is getting coached up on the bench. Lots of conversation with the the coaches. He is, however, messing with his hamstring quite a bit.

      • This is getting embarrassing. 65 Raptors - 25 Kings. Raptors playing very close to an NBA roster, Kings have talent but just aren't hitting anything.

        • VanVleet is giving Sac's PG fits. Absolutely unable to get Sac's O working.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

          • Kings have 29 points at the end of the third quarter. That was not a typo.

                • Fred may or may not make it back into the game so I'll talk in the past tense. Very impressive outing. He was 100% in control, played great defense, virtually no mistakes in the game. 6 points on five shots (2-3 from 3PT range) in just under 17:00 of play, but also added in 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal with no turnovers. Seems like a broken record with Marshall's players. Great defense, play under control, make smart plays. Yes, Fred didn't score 20 points like Ron did, but I think he showed a little that he can play as a pure point against bigger, faster athletes. His vision didn't go away, and neither did his defense. Had a better game than Delon Wright.

85-47. 47 would tie the lowest score in Summer League history.

                  • Interview of Fred (from after first practice). Apologize if people have seen before.

                    • I watched Fred's game last night. He played under control and looked good out there. If he's gonna make the NBA, he has to show an ability to drive and get to the basket. Last night he was not forcing anything, which is fine for the first game out there, but it's not gonna turn any heads in the front office. We all know Fred has another level to his game, hopefully that starts to come out as he gets more comfortable with his players.

                      • Had a chance to attend Fred's game with my girlfriend last night. After yelling "let's go, Fred" with a little more volume then the girlfriend needed, a blonde haired woman in front of us turned around and looked at me with a proud grin. That's when I realized we were sitting right behind his family. Anyhow, I thought he played great defense and very solid all around. His shot looked very good as well. Hope to see him take it into the trees on Sunday. Got a great pic with Fred, if only I knew how to share it on here......

He got put in for the last 1.5 minutes of the first. His team promptly turned the ball over twice (not his fault). He got a chance for an assist and a 3, both missed.

                            • Thanks for the updates. I'm only able to catch bits and pieces at a time. Much appreciated.

Not getting much play right now. Delon Wright getting the most time. The announcers keep praising Wright even though he's constantly out of control.
