Realistically 19 or 20 is what you should get with that POS schedule Lusk put together. He's gonna get canned no matter what, he should have at least gone out with a solid schedule and died on his sword than to slaughter some d-3 trash then get hosed by the top 2/3 of the Valley in conference play and still get fired.
I'm having difficulty determining how you really feel about it.

I seldom sympathize with posters who root for opponents, but this is one case where recent Shocker baseball history causes me to cut a little slack, because it reminds me that there's very little worse for a fan than to be tempted to root against his own team. That's beyond frustrating.

I rooted against the Shox in the Cohen/Thompson era, bad guys playing bad basketball, more arrests than wins. I rooted again the Royals in the Tony Muser era, the Chiefs after Staley. And not fond of Shocker baseball these days. When you care about your team, it's impossible to root for a bad product. Sometimes it needs to get bad enough to invoke change.

I feel like there is a difference between rooting against your team and beubg disappointed in the direction they're headed. Maybe there were still some things worth rooting for, even then. Or maybe not.

                    • Though they had success before that Final Four run, it was in April 2013 that Wichita State took the step that Creighton, their former Missouri Valley rival, couldn’t take.

The sweet 16 was in April that year??

Should MSU ever have a good basketball season, you'll have to break an SST out of mothballs to accommodate the speed that coach will use to leave Springfield.
