  • He, or his parents, might have simply seen the out of state tuition bill and it sunk home, "that is a lot of money!"

    • There's also a big difference between not getting playing time and not getting to suit up. We had so many guys on the roster, we weren't going to be able to have them all suit up or take them all on away trips. I'm sure he realized he wasn't going to be a starter, but he might have just realized mop up minutes wouldn't even be available this year.

      • Well, that's a bummer about MM and I trust the team docs on this one. Hope he gets the rest he needs and doesn't try to push it. Pretty sure 3G won't risk it.

As for the young man from WV, I have to admit I was admiring the qualities of the walk-ons this afternoon while reviewing the roster and thinking what a talented group of young men 3G has been able to attract to the team and Steven was one of them. All the best to him in whatever he does and wherever he ends up. I'm sure he'll land on his feet and get playing time somewhere else that most assuredly wasn't going to happen in the yellow and black.

        • I have a feeling Fred's hamstring saga will lead to a very conservative handling of Marcus' injury. Gregg may just put him in a bubble until October.

No chance of that. His parents are loaded.

They really can't do that. They need to determine if it going to heal on it own, or if he has tolerance for the pain to play with it, or if he is going to need surgery. If get gets surgery now, he could be playing full speed by November. Of course, if it will heal on it own in timely fashion that is the best option because surgery is surgery even with this.

                  Me too!!

                    • We definitely run a risk like this putting him in a bubble...

                              Let's recite the man's prayer . . .

                              I'm a man
                              I can change
                              If I have to
                              I guess

If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy!

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."
