I don't see why anyone who is a KU fan would be worried about playing us. We're NOT going to get an 8/9 seed in Tulsa when KU is possibly the #1 or #2 overall seed. They're just not going to give Wichita State home court advantage against NCAA darling Kansas. So the earliest we'd play KU is in the FF. And by then who really cares who you play?

If KU fans are "s****ing their collective pants" on facing WSU like you say, then they're actually giving our team a fantastic compliment due to already placing us in the Final Four.

They think the committee will screw them and put us as an 8/9 in Tulsa for the ratings. Many of them think WSU is playing like a 4/5 seed but will be underseeded, thus screwing them over. Others on the board are saying, "bring them on, we'll kick their butts this year and need some payback".

I haven't ventured over to phog.net in quite some time, but the last time I was there it was nothing but meme's and "the sky is falling/conspiracy against us" posts. Judging from everyone's comments on this matter it doesn't sound like much has changed.

I don't see why we're all so concerned with what the chicken fans are saying anyway. Just shut down Frank Mason and get Lucas in foul trouble early and you're on your way to a victory.

24 win Kentucky should have been a 3 seed but 30 win WSU should be an 8 or a 9?

For reference Wichita State is 10th in KenPom with a adjEM of 26.37. 2014 UK finished at 13th after their run with an adjEM of 22.57.

I think the NCAA and its committee will take a huge amount of heat (for being corrupt) with nothing to sufficiently hang their hat on if Syracuse gets in. There is just so much that can be pointed to for why the Orange should NOT get in.

He still has to try and predict the committee though and Jim Boeheim knows where the bodies are buried judging by the committee's treatment of Syracuse.

I'm surprised OU did as well as they did without Woodard. He makes a big difference for that team.

Palm sucks at brackets but he just absolutely destroyed Syracuse is his little bit on CBS Sports Network. And that is one thing I wholeheartedly agree with him. Syracuse should not be in the discussion. Not at all whatsoever. He said they've only won 2 games away from home, that would be a first for an at-large team. They also would have the highest RPI ever for an at-large team at 85. He said you have to be pretty bad to beat Duke, Virginia, and Florida State and STILL only have an RPI of 85. Imagine how bad it would be without those wins. If their name wasn't "Syracuse", nobody would be talking about a team with that resume.

People don't realize that mediocre teams can beat good teams (mainly at home). That doesn't automatically mean they're NCAA at-large worthy. And that's what's been the problem with everybody so focussed on Top 50 and Top 100 wins lately. It's not just about that.
