I'm OK with starting the journey in Salt Lake City. Worked out pretty well last time.

I do hope that Illinois State gets in. I fear today's performance may be an issue for them. But better them then some .500 team (or worse) from a P5 conference.

I am beginning to think the committee doesn't understand what puts the Madness into March.

Our coach reads twitter religiously. He reads what his players tweet, his kids tweet, the media tweets and what our fans tweet. He is always being the father figure to our players making sure their tweets are not overly objectionable but he mainly reads twitter the same reason we do--for entertainment value. While someone on the staff keeps tabs on the board much of what he said about Hairy can be found on the twitter sphere.

Aside from the already mentioned "ESPN hasn't updated to reflect the championship win"...

Why should MVC regular season champs, 30-4, or any of that have anything to do with going to SLC? If you get a 5,6,7,8,9, or 10 seed, you get almost zero preferential treatment for travel. As it should be.

I don't understand the fundamental complaint.
