  • Monmouth gets screwed again. Last year by the committee this year by their own MAAC conference. It is beyond stupid that they play these games every year on Seina's home court and that was a true home court advantage today. Also didn't help that Monmouth's 2nd best player Seaborn got injured last game and was out. That damn guy from Siena couldn't miss off the bench. So what a waste 17 straight wins and no NCAA's for a 2nd straight year. Such a shame not to get to see Justin Robinson in an NCAA tournament game. Good job MAAC.

      • It's just crazy to me that a 1 or 2 seed could see a 30-4 Top 20 team on the line under them. I thought we got jobbed as a 1 with a under performing Kentucky, close to their home, under us but this would be nuts. Get ready for some serious griping from these great power conferences that setup these stupid select processes in the first place.

It was updated this morning before the game.

I don't know about SN but it sure sounds like he spends some quality time online hunting for chips to put on the team's shoulder.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

Good article. It did give us credit for a Sweet 16 last year, even though we didn't.

And our RPI numbers do indicate that we're an at-large. That's the problem. We were around 40 all week long. If you went strictly by RPI, we would be probably around a 10 seed, in, not a lock, but certainly not on the wrong side of the bubble. P5 teams with 40 RPIs are virtual locks. That's where the problem arises. RPI's aren't looked at equally among schools. Now, we sit at 29. Seeding based strictly and only on RPI, we'd be about a 7 seed. Again, that's only using Jerry Palm's RPI garbage numbers. They talk backwards so much now it's just so obvious how biased these hacks are.

playing KU. That would be good entertainment.
I hope ISU gets in as well. It would suck for them to have a record-setting year and not make the tournament--especially for the seniors. Who knows...maybe we will meet for a fourth time.

I'm pretty sure we are getting a 7, 8, 9, or 10 seed which means we are going to a 1 or 2 seed in the second round who will be slotted first geographically. There are hardly ever more than a few teams further west than us in the tournament. Combine that with the Gonzaga storyline rematch plus it also being in SLC where we met before and it seems like a slam dunk for the committee.

                              • We will probably have to beat North Carolina, Duke, Indiana and Kansas to make it to the Final four.
