    I'll one up that ****.

If we finish with 4 losses, we'll be National Champs!

    • I feel as confident as I ever have (2014 included) that we will win the MVC tournament regardless of what we do the rest of the regular season. I rarely make predictions but I'm almost willing to lay down some serious cash on it.

Based on what I've seen so far, there is a good chance we will win all 3 games by an average of 20 points.

Kinda like how the 1991 UNLV Runnin Rebels would average a 20 point beatdown over an entire season of games against WSU's undefeated team according to their fans that stopped by...

Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

So Lunardi thinks we're about 12 teams in while Jerry Lewis Palm doesn't have us sniffing a bid right now.

When do you think the backtracking will commence?

I'd give Lunardi another couple weeks before he starts moving us out of his bracket.

Wasn't ISU in there yesterday? They are now in the "Next 4 out" category.

I honestly don't want to face KU this year, for a couple of reasons. First, when they play well, they're pretty good. Second, Mason continues to get the kinds of calls Fred wasn't getting his senior year. That's tough to defend. Third, and most importantly, if we played KU regularly, I'd have no problem taking our losses when they inevitably happened. In the mean time, I like having the last win of the series.

                      • How pissed will Gonzaga be if they get the #1 seed and end up seeing us as the #9 in their bracket?

Not sure how Zags fans would react but as a Shocker fan I'd rather be in the KU bracket than Gonzaga. KU is a three man team. We have some pretty talented defenders. I'd love to see the matchups and I like our chances.

KU is so thin inside I think we would take them. As for Mason, "paging Zach Brown to the courtesy phone".

That Region would bode well for Shocker success!

I would rather the Shockers play the Zags in the Final Four; so let's keep the Region seedings as proposed by Lunardi.
