Couldn't be any worse than mid90's-early00's. That was some bad basketball.

The standard bearer at that time, Creighton, couldn't even win a tournament game. As a matter of fact over the last 20 years don't they have just 1 tournament win? Right before Baylor beating the living hell out of 'em.

Hell, Bradley & UNI have won more games than the blowjays over that same time-span.

SIU got really good right around 2000. I think MSU and ISUr had some decent teams at the end of the 90s. WSU and UNI were mostly awful. Drake has been awful for 20 years save one. They are the Northwestern of the Valley.

So the Doug McDermott era resulted in just 3 Tourny wins. One for each of his last 3 years. And that right there is the pinnacle of Creighton Basketball. HA!

CU has won two games in a tournament in 1962 and 1974.

CU's most recent single game wins occurred in '12, '13 and '14.

Also of note .. Creighton has never won 2 consecutive games in the Tourney. In '62 an '74 they Won a game, Lost a game, then won the consolation game for Regional 3rd place.

3/16/64, CU 68, WSU 84 in Regional Semifinal game in Wichita. CU went on to lose the consolation game to Utep 52-63.
