I hope MM can find his groove on O soon. he is a force on defense he got hammered inside yesterday on O probally should have been at the line more than he was. 8 Reb shows he doesn't let anything get him down. he finds his groove he will be in for some 20 point games

MM still looks less than explosive when jumping, which may still be knee related. I know he self admired the physical progress he made in the off season, but the Sooners gave him a new perspective. I love MM, but he still has some weight room work in front of him. Again...I am ecstatic he is a Shocker.Robin Roberts: "My mother used to say, when you strut, you stumble."

McDuffie needs to work harder on the court. His athleticism alone will not make him a great player. Vs. OU, he had more shots swatted away or stuffed back in his face then he made. Not to mention "almost getting" several rebounds. He is better than that and it is about effort.Basketball Season Tix since '77-78 . . . . . . Baseball Season Tix since '88

My take on Markis inside. He gained weight and strength over the off-season. He could use more. He still goes up like he's still 175 lbs thinking he has to finesse everything. His shot is being blocked below the rim. Somewhere along the line he needs to figure out how to power up through defenders. In his defense, with his physique power has probably not been forefront in his reprotoire.Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

I think he has a great work ethic. But that being said i would love to see him be come much more aggressive and show his true talents. He is such a team player that it could possibly be holding back his potential. He definetly needs to use his new found size and pound the boards more often.

Love McDuffie and hope it starts clicking for him soon. It wasn't just yesterday his shot was getting blocked. It's not a concern at this point just a bit strange.Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

My eyes and processing are slanted towards our beloved Shocks and always have been. Ya think??? Ha!!! However, yesterday Duff got hammered hard on some shots and was not rewarded with throws IMO. With that said, he still went and grabbed 8 rebounds. Between him and Brown, we got the 3 slot covered. There may be games with foul issues downstream that MM will play some 4 too. Or, there may be games Brown and MM are both so on that 3G leaves them out there together from time to time.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

McDuffie led the team in rebounds with eight. He had as many offensive rebounds as any other players combined.
That doesn't happen without effort, nor would Marshall give him the minutes he does if he weren't giving it.
I'm confident Marshall's a better judge of effort than you.Dominance is a state of mind.
