Ultimately, it will spill over onto his dad. Not good in my opinion.
I doubt he thought that KU fans would be offended about a comment about North Carolina and Syracuse. This is not Kellen's fault in my opinion. For most of those people you are talking about being offended, he may have to say nothing to ensure that they aren't offended.
Now if they responded to his tweet and he responded back, you may be correct but I didn't see that.

Wouldn't tweeting back to Kellen the article on WSU sanctions just prove his point that blue bloods can escape sanctions? How many of the WSU violations, in fact would all of WSU's violations put together, match North Carolina's decades of Academic Fraud amongst every single one of their athletic programs, to which the NCAA initially said "No issues with us, its an accreditation issue, keep playing"

This is not a legal issue, or necessarily a moral issue, but rather a discernment and wisdom issue.
EDIT: None of the above takes away from the fact that most of those responses at the phog are juvenile and scummy. That should go without saying and is much easier to identify than any specific advice to Kellen on guidelines for public comments.

I'm not willing to concede that many of them are old enough to legally drive themselves to Wal-Mart."Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

If you can't beat em, join errrrrrr, don't let them play you.
Fred and Ron were 9-4 in the tourney as 9, 1, 7, and 11 seeds respectively. Perry was 7-4 in the tourney as 1, 2, 2, and 1 seeds respectively. KU should be embarrassed.

It just doesn't seem wise to go on repeated public rants criticizing an organization your employer is a part of. I'm not saying he needs to refrain completely, just that some discretion as to how much, how often, and how harsh would be wise. This applies to any employee of any organization.
