Did he say something new? I only saw one comment from him that had nothing to do with KU.

I doubt he thought that KU fans would be offended about a comment about North Carolina and Syracuse. This is not Kellen's fault in my opinion. For most of those people you are talking about being offended, he may have to say nothing to ensure that they aren't offended.

Now if they responded to his tweet and he responded back, you may be correct but I didn't see that.

Well its not like he just said those Cheating Bastards that were in the Elite 8 and Kellen meant the cuse and the tarheels only but the hawksuckers thought they were included in the cheating bastard part.

Wouldn't tweeting back to Kellen the article on WSU sanctions just prove his point that blue bloods can escape sanctions? How many of the WSU violations, in fact would all of WSU's violations put together, match North Carolina's decades of Academic Fraud amongst every single one of their athletic programs, to which the NCAA initially said "No issues with us, its an accreditation issue, keep playing"

Kellen posts A LOT of similar comments on Twitter. Several posters in the KU thread identified a trend, not merely a single comment. Complaining about cheaters, violations, unfair treatment by the NCAA, etc. is all reasonable to an extent, but I think what @Ricardo del Rio and many others (myself included) are saying is that there is a wisdom to self restraint some times. Kellen may be 100% right in everything he has ever said. I haven't read it all and can't comment categorically to all his posts. However, even if he only speaks truth, not all truth needs spoken in all circumstances by all individuals. Kellen is tied to Gregg, and even beyond that to the program as a team manager. He would do well to tone down the public attacks on the NCAA.

This is not a legal issue, or necessarily a moral issue, but rather a discernment and wisdom issue.

EDIT: None of the above takes away from the fact that most of those responses at the phog are juvenile and scummy. That should go without saying and is much easier to identify than any specific advice to Kellen on guidelines for public comments.

That 1982 article is outdated, anyway. WSU is no longer #1. SMU has surged to the top with 10 major infractions, followed by Arizona State (9), and WSU tied with Oklahoma for third (8).

This assumes that the average poster at Phog is over 21.

If you can't beat em, join errrrrrr, don't let them play you.
This is a fallacy. If they didn't allow 75% of the tourney in, KU instead of getting upset by teams like Bucknell, Bradley, and Stanford, would have just gotten embarrassed by an even more superior team. KU is the most consistently overrated team in the tourney. One thing I found funny all year was all the flak Villanova got for its last few first weekend exits, but nothing is mentioned of KU. Makes me happy to know Villanova got to show who the real overrated team is.

Fred and Ron were 9-4 in the tourney as 9, 1, 7, and 11 seeds respectively. Perry was 7-4 in the tourney as 1, 2, 2, and 1 seeds respectively. KU should be embarrassed.

He's not just a college kid. That's the whole point. He is Gregg Marshall's son and is himself on the staff as a team manager.

It just doesn't seem wise to go on repeated public rants criticizing an organization your employer is a part of. I'm not saying he needs to refrain completely, just that some discretion as to how much, how often, and how harsh would be wise. This applies to any employee of any organization.

The actual data would tend to disagree with you.

This is the same reason I don't plaster political stuff all over my social media accounts. Do I have strongly held beliefs? Yes. Do I believe in them? Yes. Is it beneficial to me, my family, or my employer to post those things? Probably not.
