I'd bet plenty of money that his starting five is NOT the one we see in the opener, and it's quite likely that (barring significant injury issues) that group won't ever start a game. No wonder the Shocks are only #37.

Oh, well: (1) get underrated, (2) place chip on shoulder, (3) remind everyone why the Shockers do what they do under Marshall, (4) have people saying in March, here they are again. How did they do it without Baker and VanVleet?

No way. There was a real reason. Boeheim was suspended for cheating so Syracuse clearly needed to move up in seeding. The fact that it impacted little ole WSU was just a random and unfortunate byproduct.

I can't argue with their prediction. Still being at #37 after losing everything we lost shows the respect our program has earned.

As low as that seems, we were seeded lower in the tournament last year. That's how bad our draw was.
