Actually, I picked W. Kentucky to beat Drake, but picked them to lose the next game.. However, I did pick S. Cal to beat K-State. OOps! It's hard not to pull for the underdogs and it has been enjoyable watching these upsets. It keeps the Big Guns honest and humble. Remember when Georgia Tech was in their prime and was loaded with HS All-Americans and got beat by Southern U?
An almost upset in the far past was when Princeton almost beat Georgetown. It appeared to me that the the calls begin to shift mostly for Gergetown, thus a near miss for Princeton. These are games that defy logic and what the odds tell us, which is why we play the games on the Court, between the lines.
