Well, ISUr and the Karate Kid had a pretty rough evening in Normal a couple of years ago, I seem to recall. Little less on the line though (and it wasn't 12 points either).

They were so bad, it makes you wonder.

      That is all.
I couldn't agree more. And those calls are really souring me on this whole tournament. I don't think I am going to watch another game this year. And it is weird because the calls didn't even involve my team. But they just really bother me.

        Ok, you're killing me.

The call was garbage. Hot garbage. Joke garbage.

But when you're blowing the game away like UNI did, I just can't fathom blaming the referees for this one. Any other instance and I'd listen. But that collapse was ALL on them.

          • IF this had been the shockers, all shockerneter's would have to meet tomorrow with a big bowl of purple koolaid laced with arsenic in the middle of the meeting.

It probably feels like a birth to A&M...

But this seems worse because it was THIRTY TWO FREAKING SECONDS!
WSU football vs Moorehead State was pretty bad too, but again that was not so sudden. Plus it was not even close to being on a national stage.

The UNI collapse tonight was simply epic especially considering with all the eyeballs focused on them and the play this will get on all the sports news and talk outlets.

I am totally with you on this. It is so painfully obvious. Viewership will go down now.

That would hurt the KenPom rating

Viewership will go down because of that call? lol ok.

The problem is there is never any accountability. That call isn't even being talked about except on a UNI message board and maybe a handful of other places. And in a few days, it'll be totally forgotten about. Nobody gives a **** if a guy makes a bad call. The same guy is out a night later calling another game and making another stupid ass call. Referees definitely make impact on plays with their garbage officiating. That's not deniable. But nobody's ever gonna do anything about it. And as for tonight, it wasn't the reason for the UNI choke job. How could anyone blame that call on a loss like that? Nope. Not gonna happen.

                          • The refs didn't turn it the ball over multiple times to a person right under the basket. Also, if he gets out of the way and gives them the layup, they still have a one-point lead.

                            • HORRIBLE - and one - call ended up costing them the game. As bad as they played without
that fathom call UNI still wins by one
