Suck it Evansville. A D2 sized school, with D2 levels of fan and institutional support, and a non-con filled with other schools that might as well be D2 as well. I'm glad Simmons' "engineering" of this season lead to this. They deserve it.
I don't know if UNI has the program fundamentals to maintain in the long term, but if we're not going to win the MVC tourney, then it is best for the conference right now if they do. Downside is hearing UNI fans talk about their "MVC Championship" for the next year, as they kindly omit the word "Tournament" from the phrase, a la what Iowa State does to the B12, and what Creighton used to do ad nauseum.Last edited by SHOCKvalue; March 6, 2016, 04:13 PM.Comment
