northern iowa is trending on twitter... that tells you how bad it is for the shockers now.
That big of an upset.
These freshman/sophomores better get the feeling in their gut what losing is like and not let it happen in the future.

The only problem could be if a ton of upsets happen for bid stealing. Root for the mid majors on the bubble to win their tournaments that have at large potential and no funny business in the A-10 and other conferences.2014 RTS Fantasy Championship National Champion $200,000 (2460 teams)
2012 NFFC Online National Champion $100,000 (1872 teams)

2015 RTS Fantasy Championship 2nd Place $25,000 (3120 teams)
2015 NCAA Bracketology (351 pts more than all 136 at the bracket matrix)

In past years we have had underclassmen step up and hit some big shots. These players were junior and senior season standouts. So far only Brown has shown flashes but nothing game winning and McDuffie has shown streaks of brilliance but again nothing off the top of my head when the game is/was on the line. It worries me that we haven't really had that this season. I still believe Frankamp has it in him but he hasn't either.
As it stands right now, I say at times we look like the 3rd best team next season.

We did NOT shoot well period; it happens. Sometimes at the worst possible times.
I think we do deserve a bid still - the Valley isn't as bad as most think. UNI, Evansville, Ill St. can compete with many, many P5 teams, especially the ones in the BIG 12 that is deemed so powerful.
We have had a rough season with injuries at what-not; the chemistry never really got going. Many key players are underclassmen.
IMO, the guys have not been having fun lately; trying to hard to win it for Ron & Fred.
Haven't seen too many smiles.
There is no need to rip on any players or coach.
Keep your heads up and Shockernetters don't be the meltdown board that you are always mocking."He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Tough loss that is hard to swallow. 2-24 on 3's and we lose 57-52 in OT. Thought we could keep going inside the way we started the game but our bigs kept making too many fouls as UNI made 13 more throws than we did. Washpun played well and UNI played some tough D.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

How in the hell does a team win the conference by four games while blowing out the final five opponents, and then go to the conference tournament, and look so absolutely pitiful?"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.
