I agree with this assessment. I'd say from about 8 feet in and 15-17 are ideal. Between 8 and 15 are the more difficult spots for him. Although that sweet little baseline jumper he hit yesterday appeared from my seat to be about 12-13 feet.

I may be wrong, but it just seems, that in addition to bagging his 15-18 foot jumpers, he is quicker to getting the rock down low and finishing. Early in the year, he would get it and stop to gather himself, drawing a crowd in the process. Lately, it's been just a 'boom' get it/'boom' layup.

      That's what I like.

This Eagle article on Anton may have been posted elsewhere and I may have missed it. In any case, I thought it was excellent:

It's like the positive press got in his head today; he had a really less than spectacular game.

It was a terrific article. And actually, it was a fairly spectacular game, too -- six turnovers in 18 minutes? Not in a good way, but that's pretty spectacular in its own right.

Tomorrow is another day, Scarlett. And it needs to be a distinctly different one; but now that this is out of the way, hopefully everyone is awake. Good thing Ron and Shaq made the early wakeup call today, though.

The announcers said that Ron's falling off a cliff 3 ball carried a 10% probability.

Maybe 10% for Ron Baker...about .1% if you took the average across all NCAA players IMO.

Grady did not handle the double team well at all. Jitters maybe?

Seats are right behind the player section and Anton was right in front of us. Two observations: About halfway through the Evansville game he pulled up the legs of his warmups and took a big ice pack off both knees. I assume that is a normal post game routine? He was sitting where his T-shirt was tight against his back - dude is ripped - no body fat on that guy.

Sounds normal. I remember someone on here saying he ices his knees every day just to be able to play.

Another observation- Fred and Ron were clearly the most focused players on watching UNI and SIU. Ron even moved over to another section to see better. But, not like the rest haven't seen them before. Interesting, but not surprising.

Shaq passes back out faster than Grady if needed. Anton tends to be a black hole at times, not that this was necessarily the problem yesterday
