Have you ever sat behind the band and watched the band director? When there is a moment like in the UNI game, he looks pissed as hell. I bet he was reprimanded for playing over that promo in the E-Ville game and that's why you didn't see it happen in the UNI game.

I can confirm that the band director has had numerous problems with media this year, especially when told not to play "Hail Wichita" when the team enters or leaves the arena while a promo is playing. I guess I get not playing set tunes over promos at the media timeout, but this was for pre-game/half-time. Something seems wrong when media prioritizes another minute of ad time over tradition, especially when its 30 minutes before tip-off and no one would even see the ad to begin with. Though I'm sure if you asked the band director he'd want to play as much as possible.
