What, you have something against holding up your CC number for 10,506 people to see?

They better discontinue the CC thing if Gottlieb ever visits.

This is the sort of stuff that can be the straw that breaks the camel's back with regards to season ticket or individual game purchase decisions, come a subpar season or two. Ultimately, to the majority, attending a college basketball game is simply a choice of entertainment dollars spent. The actual team on the court has been the reason to come regardless the past 5-10 years, but if an average team was playing, coupled with the poor current in-game stuff, you end up with a product that is not the least bit compelling to the average person.
              This.

The older crowd/season ticket holders will come regardless. They need to create an environment that makes people begging to come back, not put them to sleep. I hate to say more "NBA-like", but definitely closer to that then they have now.

They REALLY need to gear the gameday presentation towards the younger audience. People that might want to become students one day, or at least become life long fans.

I applied for this position because as a WSU alumnus and fan, I love WSU. I don't want to see them continue to fall behind and just hope they can win 95% of their home games for the rest of history.

WSU needs to strike now, while the iron is hot and they are at their peak success. IF there was ever to be any lean years it might become harder, or even worse, too late to do anything significant.

I don't hold mine up, but not because someone seeing the name, number and expiration date on my card. If someone can do that, or has the photographic equipment to do it, they are probably already government agents and can get that information.

                  Which is another thing...

Was Verne Troyer the only one that auditioned for Wu?? Jezuz.

Even the coffee dude from Dunkin' is an upgrade.

At least they are honest in their advertising!

Unlike Mel Hamilton. Where the announce "WIN A BRAND NEW MUSTANG!!!" (**Fine Print** - Two-Year Lease..)

Yeah very shady, they announce it as "he'll drive out of here with a brand new Mustang" and everyone thinks they win the car, when its really just 2 years lease payments, probably with a 2000 mile limitation.

I get a chuckle when they blast that add on the video board randomly in the second half, about an hour after the contest already happened. Id think blasting it just before the contest would be the timely thing to do. But what do I know? I'm not a marketing genius.

Using the same song as one of the pregame videos ... and it has a extra loud "crash" sound at the end that scares the crap out of me every time.

It's okay though, because in all likelihood the "free Mustang" is a V6/auto car with no options, which means if you win the lease you should probably just let your wife or little sister drive it.

Can't beat free though, even if it is just temporary.

Well it is a "car dealer"......always a hidden fine print.

I know this happened during the Loyola game. I think it was the under 12 in the second half. Promo was the shoot from the chair. Band played right through it and the crowd stayed loud! It was awesome!
