I know I saw someone else post the same, but if Hamilton and Taylor get to where they can fly and go beast mode but within control, holy hades they will be good. TT already has "hair on fire" mode running at ALL times, and to pull a line from Major League about Hamilton, "teach that kid some control before he kills someone!"
Add in MM putting on some muscle, Shaq increasing his game, getting Shamet back at full strength and conditioning, and Conner getting more comfortable with what he can do, well...

I just hope we don't relapse, get tight, and have another game where we sink into bad habits. Individually we can win any of our remaining games with that type of game, but it turns our blowouts into 50/50s and we don't have a lot of coin flips to spare.

Sorry if some of this is a repeat; I haven't had time to read the game thread. :)
I thought the crowd was fantastic last night. You could feel the energy in the building when the guys came out… we were loud when we needed to be. I think players, coaches and fans were all suffering from Saturday’s loss and this game turned out to be exactly what the doctor ordered.
The Dunkin Donut mascot is fun to watch; he/she is a pretty entertaining individual. I liked that an autistic boy was chosen to participate in the kiddy dunk competition. I’m not a big fan of the promos, but I can live with this one in the first half.
I like watching Conner Frankamp play. The crowd, coaches and players erupted when he hit the shot before the half. You know it felt great to him and 10,500+ other people.
I felt sorry for Rauno Nurger after he missed the put-back; he really works hard and I’m not giving up on him.
I also like watching Tyrone Taylor; I think he’ll soon figure it out. Someone in the coaching profession that I highly respect has said some good things about him. He said “TT” is “cat-quick” and will be a PLAYER here; I trust this guy’s judgment when it comes to talent evaluation.
Bush “We have bush” Wamukota looked better last night; he seems to play better against taller teams/players.
Something clicked with Anton Grady last night; he was smooth and even hit most of his free throws. You could tell he was fired up.
Fred was pissed when they missed one of the calls when he drove to the basket. I wonder if he got hit in the mouth where he recently had the stitches (they may still be in?). He glared at one of the refs and then headed back down on defense; unfortunately, they immediately caught him with a reach-in foul. As you would expect from him, instead of arguing with the ref that missed the call on the other end, Fred simply shut his mouth and played on and got a couple of calls later in the game. He's so smart.
Wessell; he may not be a consistent shooter, but he's the damnedest ball-getter I've ever seen.
Shaq is leaning back when shooting free-throws and that might be hard to change in mid-season. His bank shot was sweet and I thought he was aggressive on the boards.
We looked like a top 10 team last night and a team capable of making a deep run in March. Defense was top-notch against a team with some talent. We simply broke their will with waves of depth. I don’t care what anyone else says about this team. Don’t sell them and the coaching staff short, the ‘potential’ is still off the charts IMO.

Were the 2 girls with Microcephaly (linked to the Zika virus) at last night’s game? I thought I got a quick glimpse of them on the video board. This is one of the saddest things I’ve seen and my prayers go out to both girls and their family. Basketball seems so unimportant when you see something like this. Kudos to the parents for accepting and loving both girls. It was nice seeing them at the game and I wondered if our administration might have had something to do with them being in attendance?
What a powerful quote from their mother:
“I feel like you can choose to view it as a really sad thing,” said Gwen Hartley. “I can list 50 reasons why it sucks. But I can list 1,000 reasons why it’s freaking awesome. They are cool, amazing, deep spiritual beings and I am so lucky to be their mom.”

Anton changed his stance on free throws. They were shoulder apart instead of the silly almost on top of each other he used to do. No idea how they let him do this and didn't address it. I saw it and immediately said "wider, I bet he's better". Swish. You're welcome.
Fred was pissed a couple of times. Do not piss off Fred. When he got mad, he took over. I can't believe there are only 2 games left. Thank you Fred.
