I don't think he's even arguing for his son .. just his son's teammate and 2 other valley players that have their whole offense designed to create shots for them.

Kai - Was it "most talented" or "most athletic"? Big difference and I quite frankly don't remember his exact quote.

I think it was most athletic. They have said it multiple times on the broadcasts for ISU games.

To be exact, Dan, LeFred averages a little over a shot every three minutes, which works out to just under 9.7 shots per game given his PT so far this year. He shoots when he needs to, not because his team is set up to where he has to (and he hits 45%+ on his threes).

As for the Redbird juggernaut we'll be seeing Saturday night, I thought Ray Giacoletti, who first achieved notoriety with his comment comparing them to WSU, talked about talent rather than just athleticism.

The Louvre. His play is a fine work of art?
"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

I could say that I just made it up, as a play on the name of LeBron, Fred's fellow dominator who also wears #23, but I much prefer Prez's answer. So I'll go with that.

You da man, Prez. Plus, LeFred has a kind of French sound to it -- perfect for the Louvre.

It'll slowly evolve into the "1-12 they're the greatest team in the history of college athletics."

Don't say that to Dan's face, he'll follow you into your locker room.

Of course he is -- that's where Prez's French aspect comes in. Besides, who ever heard of The Bron, even though he clearly is?

Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall praises the play of PG Fred VanVleet and says not being named a Cousy award finalist will benefit the Shockers going forward.
