After having Morris and Kelly lead the way in scoring last night, it got me thinking about how many different people we have had step up. Teams talk about depth, but I really don't think I've seen a team as deep as this one in a long time.
Through 9 Valley games:
Seven different players have been either our leading scorer or second leader scorer in a game.
4 of those players are bench players (Kelly, McDuffie, Frankamp, Grady)
2 Starters have yet to be a leading or second leading scorer in a Valley game (Brown, and Wessel)
If you add in the non-conf, you can add 4 additional players that have been our leading or 2nd leading scorer (Brown, Hamilton, Taylor, Shamet). So through 20 games we have had 11 different players be either the leading scorer or 2nd leading scorer.
We also have had 11 different people score in double figures this year. 8 of those have done it during conference play.
