I agree. UNI is still going to finish outside of Thursday in the MVC. They are about to wreck the standings for some of the less powerful upper half teams. I just have a hard time believing they are this bad. I'm still assuming they hit a terrible rough patch and still have some wins coming their way.

UNI will play on Thursday. They are not a good team right now, and their back 9 is not easier than their first. Take a step back.....their only 3 league wins are against Bradley and Drake.

I should not have made a prediction prior to seeing the line so I am reversing my call. Instead of a
66-63 win I think it will be a LOSS by a similar score. First, I almost always bet WITH the house if its
left holding to much $$ on one side. Second, I've thought all along we would lose at least one more
and this is the most likely one. Third, we really struggled with EU at home. Forth, I think their big guy
has a very good game. Fifth, their guards played really well against us. Sixth, I hope I have lots of
egg on my face dinner time tomorrow.

I know I'm supposed to be rational and expect a tight game and potentially a loss. Then I look at what the shockers have done lately as opposed to what Evansville has done lately and I'm back to thinking there is a pretty big difference between these two teams.

A perfect example is the score comparison versus @SIU, who is the other top team in the MVC along with Evansville.

I still kinda think WSU will win "handily"... Especially if you are using Fox sports standards for what handily means :)

I am not worried about the Aces, they played us tight at home so our guys will be focused. This isn't to say that the Aces will be a pushover or that the Aces are not capable of beating the Shocks. I believe they are quite capable but given the close game at home and the Shocks road play, I think the Shocks will be well prepared.

I am worried about ISUb.

I understand the "f" word seems to be normal language for "adults", but I don't want to restrict my kids from reading this forum because they like to read about everyone's opinion regarding the Shockers and the Valley. Whatever happened to the language sensor.

I just don't get it. We're talking about Evansville here. Their best win is against UC Irvine. IRVINE! Don't let their 18 wins fools you. 11 of them are against teams with 200+ RPIs or non-D1 teams.

WSU has no business losing to the likes of these clowns. If we do, it would be an embarrassment of all embarrassments and I'd better not see people on this board questioning why Duke is still getting love or insert any other top 25 team that you believe to be overrated. If we can't beat a team like Evansville, then we have no legitimate gripe toward another program who is ahead of the Shox in the rankings.
