Beating the 1 or 2 in your region makes you honestly believe you can beat anyone you play.

The higher the seed you are playing, the tougher the team you are playing, and the lower your chances of winning. Tip-off doesn't change this.
I'm fascinated by the fact that there isn't 100% consensus on this.

I'm fascinated by the fact that there isn't 100% consensus on this."I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

@pie n eye: jumped into the conversation by quoting my post. I was discussing how your own team's seeding effects the difficulty of opponents that you will face. If the goal of quoting me was to then provide a relevant comment/criticism, it would make no sense to respond to my quote with a completely different topic. However good or bad the team you root for might be is irrelevant to my argument about how difficult your opponents will be.
My main point was simple. If making the Final Four is your goal, you want as high of seed as possible. I'm not even arguing against your point, @im4wsu. WSU will indeed be the same WSU whether the committee slaps a 5 or a 10 seed number next to their name. The same Shocker team will be taking the floor. However, the opponent will be different, and the road to the Final 4 is more difficult as a 10 than as a 5.Last edited by Jamar Howard 4 President; January 15, 2016, 05:55 PM.

Then, seeding is irrelevant."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!
